  3. The lights put out as Luna lands on the square - impressive care about the details!
And... Isn't that Madame Faust on the painting?
I'm patiently looking forward to see the final masterpiece!

  4. Posted from Equestria Daily:

I love the 'feature length' feel of the animation style. It's in the style of the show, however, there are subtle quirks with the background styling ques and movement in the characters that gives it that extra punch. As one of the foals in the orphanage, I approve of this teaser :) MAGGIE, SPIRIT and GARI PFF's!

  8. You know that moment in the first Aladdin movie where the Genie's jaw drops about 3 feet?

That's pretty much my face at the moment. -WOW.- (I can definitely see how you got pulled for the Bronycon documentary!)

    1. Heehee, yes, I remember the moment :)

But I hope no one hates or thinks less of me because I had to halt this video for the documentary. Both are for bronies and fans, but still.. I'd hate to betray the fans.

  9. Amazing, I saw your animatic quite some time ago now and fell in love with it and have since popped in a few times for updates. I suppose today was a good time for a check with this post and preview. I love how the fans of ts community have built Luna and how we see her as a group. As for the wait, for the documentary it is time well spent so no hate here.

  11. This is lovely! I'm an italian cartoonist student and I'm studying a bit of animation. I simply love your work, so full of emotions, and the rhythm of the whole thing is perfect.
I really like this Luna, great work~

  12. This difficulty of waiting has been doubled!

Seriously, the finished version can't come soon enough, but I'll be patient and wait until you think it's ready to be released. It can only end up more awesome.

  16. It's really like watching the movie trailer of MLP: FIM, the quality is very high, and if it's any support, I hope to take you as far as you can, after that you will become practically a celebrity :D

  17. This is amazing. I remember watching the first animac. This trailer now is simply superb. The artwork is beautiful, the animation near flawless, and the tone and style of the whole project is simply amazing. No amount of praise can do you justice, you two are just THAT amazing. Keep up the wonderful work. Can't wait till its release.

  18. Out of the many different pony fan works I've seen, this is THE BEST, even better than Double Rainboom. However, please don't take this negatively, but I do have some constructive criticism: 0:28 - 0:32. It's the eyelids. Though the subtle batting and blinking does create a rather--how should I say--sultry expressiveness that I totally love, they seem to snap open/close rather mechanically. I really think the animation on the eyelids here could do with some smoothing to make it a bit more organic. Adding a few more intermediate frames may be all it needs. I only share because I care!

  23. The animation is actually better, then in the show. Yes, I said it ^_^

Ever since I saw comic strip with that idea, I thought: "That would be wonderful if someone made animation out of this... But, hell, that will never happen T_T"

You are truly making dreams come true.

    Thank You.

  24. I really liked it. The lighting effects on the trio were awesome. It made everything so dramatic and magical like a disney movie. The only critique I have is that because the colts were so well done, Luna is starting to look flat and blends to much into the background. It's like looking at standard animation versus cinema animation. Maybe you can give her some lighting effects so she pops out more and is more 3 dimensional.

Other than that, phenomenal job. I know you've put a lot of hard work into this.
