Wow! I am so glad I snuck back on to the nets!!!! I am thrilled about this project! You have an amazing workstations! I have to ask (because I can't stop my drooling) what is that tablet device you are using there? I am impressed so far and only expect the best from you ;)
Cintiq 21x in both cases, one (mine) with glass screen and his with special shielding. We combine them with NOstromo keyboards (watch our left hands)My husband built both our computers from scratch, and many of our gadgets too, like the amplifier and the sound control system.
Wow that is wicked impressive! Good for you BOTH. I am shamelessly stalking this blog and your progress :D Seriously though, I'm so impressed with everything thus far.
Thanks Betsy! you are welcome to stalk as much as you want! XDNow seriously, thank you very much for your support on this project. We have finished yet another scene today. So we advance slowly but steadily.
I never saw digital animators with gloves.By the way can I ask at which Colleges you two studied and for how many years have you been artists?
We use gloves to avoid damaging the cintiq screens with sweat or grease from our hands (the tablets get hot, and the stylus won't run smoothly after a while if you don't use them). I studied in Spain, and transferred many times. In total, I studied in Granada, Pontevedra and France, until I obtained my fine arts degree. My husband studied in an animation school called ICARI, in Montreal, which no longer exists.Lion is a senior animator with three years of experience. I am a Junior in the industry (8 months now) but have been freelanced for 3 years.
I meant TEN (10 years of experiene) for Lion, bad typo there.
Animating.. whom? New character, one of the foals?
'Lulu' is our endearing term for 'Luna' ;)
